Organisational development and facilitation

Sophie has been CEO of three organisations and worked with a fair few Chairs and boards, as well as being a Chair herself. She offers facilitation for boards, senior management teams and other staff groups,  and the drafting of key points from any of these.

Mostly, organisations work best by working through things internally and honestly, with strong leadership – and ‘followership’. Sometimes however it is very useful to have an external person to listen and reflect back, lay out the obvious and not so obvious issues, bring out any latent conflicts, articulate the decisions to be made and assist in making them.

Sophie is an active and attentive listener and a shaper of discussions. She will always summarise and propose an agreed way forward rather than just facilitate. Her mixture of emotional intelligence and business instincts helps manage sensitivities and move things forward. She works with pace and energy but bringing people into the process, not railroading.
